Györy’s ethos as an artist is about building cultures of creative collaboration and supporting creative communities. It has been featured on several curated Spotify playlists. Cloudjumper’s newest single/EP, Dark Days Will Pass, was released in July 2021, staying in the Cool TOP20 chart for 7 weeks. He has performed live both in Europe and North America. His music reflects that love of creative amalgamation, as a mix of bedroom pop and instrumental music, with strong influences from earlier explorations of experimental ambient, hip hop, and electronic music, and the occasional hint of classical elements.Īs Cloudjumper, Györy has written and produced two albums, the most recent being Memories of Snow (2016) one live LP (Push it - Live, 2014) three EP’s, and several singles and remixes. From his beginnings as a DJ in the lively club scene in Berlin in the early 2000’s, he draws inspiration from an eclectic background of influences - Cloudjumper loves to “jump” from genre to genre.
